Description

Design, develop, secure, and support enterprise APIs and integrations using IBM API Connect and DataPower.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Implement mediation, routing, transformation, and security via IBM DataPower API Gateway.
• Configure DataPower services including MPGW, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
• Implement security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and Mutual TLS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API and gateway issues using logs, probes, and traces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API integration development.
• Expert proficiency with IBM API Connect.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM DataPower API Gateway.
• Experience defining and using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 implementation.
• Familiarity with XML, REST, and SOAP services.
• Ability to integrate APIs with backend systems (REST/SOAP, Databases, IBM MQ).
• Experience configuring SSL/TLS and crypto profiles in DataPower.
