Description

You will design, develop, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect and DataPower. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement API mediation, routing, transformation, and security using IBM DataPower API Gateway.
• Develop and configure DataPower services, including Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW) and Web Service Proxy.
• Implement security mechanisms like OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and Mutual TLS.
• Develop custom logic using XSLT and GatewayScript (JavaScript).
• Integrate APIs with backend systems such as REST/SOAP services, databases, and IBM MQ.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing APIs.
• Expertise in using IBM DataPower API Gateway.
• Proficiency with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Mutual TLS implementation.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP services integration.
• Knowledge of database interaction patterns.
• Experience with IBM MQ.
• Ability to configure SSL/TLS and manage certificates.
