Description

You will design and manage the infrastructure, tools, and facilities required to create, manage, and stage APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement API solutions using IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect.
  • Develop SOAP and REST APIs using YAML and Swagger files.
  • Configure OAuth authentication with various OAuth providers.
  • Create MPGs and WSPs within DataPower environments.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across production and non-production environments.
  • Manage API deployments using Ansible, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of professional work experience.
  • Deep expertise in IBM API Connect (APIC) for API lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower.
  • Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST API development.
  • Proficiency with YAML and Swagger specifications.
  • Implementation experience with OAuth and various OAuth providers.
  • Knowledge of AAA policies.
  • Experience with Ansible and Artifactory.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPG) and Web Service Proxies (WSP).
