Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex ETL applications supporting business units. You own the full lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and production support. You work independently under minimal supervision and provide technical guidance for system architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance IBM DataStage (v11.5+) and Cloud Pak solutions.
  • Implement ETL jobs using Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, CA7, and EzyTrieve.
  • Design data models and database structures for warehousing ecosystems.
  • Support system integration testing and resolve production issues.
  • Document processes and identify automation opportunities.

Required Skills

  • 14+ years of experience in software development and ETL.
  • Expertise in IBM DataStage version 11.5 or above.
  • Strong proficiency in Mainframe environment: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, CA7, EzyTrieve.
  • Experience with Unix and SQL.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
  • Ability to work independently on ETL design and implementation.
  • Experience with IBM Cloud Pak is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience implementing DataStage in cloud environments via IBM Cloud Pak.
