Description

You will enhance application code for look-ahead logic in GDG databases, manage backup governance evidence for 31-day retention, and migrate CMDB extracts from Remedy to ServiceNow. You are responsible for production support of daily jobs, including CMDB feeds and audit checks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Enhance application code to implement look-ahead logic for GDG databases across all production plexes.
• Support the backup governance team by generating evidence for 31-day dataset retention or identifying gaps for AIT managers.
• Replace current CMDB extracts from Remedy with ServiceNow and enhance the reconciliation process.
• Provide production support for daily jobs, including CMDB feeds, MRA3 backup inventory, and 31-day retention reports.
• Perform prescribed audit checks on all reports before submission to the Audit governance team.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of application development and database administration experience.
• Strong expertise in DB2 on Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in DB2 SQL, DB2 utilities, and materialized query tables.
• Experience with REXX, JCL, and Excel functions.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of replication using classic data capture for Db2.
