Description

You will develop and maintain applications within an IBM WebSphere environment using IBM FileNet and associated components. You will collaborate within an Agile POD to align technical efforts with architectural requirements and translate business needs into technical capabilities. You will mentor junior developers, contribute to infrastructure analysis, and apply SDLC principles to capture requirements outside standard Agile cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based applications within IBM WebSphere, FileNet, and IBM Content Manager/ICC.
• Collaborate with the FileNet Design Lead to ensure alignment with architectural requirements.
• Interact directly with Line of Business users to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to infrastructure analysis and process improvements.
• Apply SDLC principles to capture and translate requirements when necessary.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in J2EE, including EJBs, JSP, Hibernate/JPA, Servlets, and Portlets.
• 3+ years of experience with IBM FileNet (version 4.X or higher preferred).
• Proficiency with IBM Content Manager/ICC and IBM WebSphere.
• Experience with SQL and database access technologies, specifically DB2 and Oracle.
• Familiarity with client-side UI technologies including HTML, CSS, Ajax/Dojo, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of SAFe 5.0 or 6.0 principles and Lean-Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
