You will design, develop, and manage financial transaction messaging solutions using IBM FTM.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop FTM actions and mappers using ESQL.
• Implement FSM model designs and manage ISF V1 and V2 objects including Transactions, Physical Transmissions, Fragments, and Batches.
• Build XML schemas, type trees, and executable files within WTX and IBM WMB.
• Deploy code through automated Jenkins build processes using DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Select appropriate platforms across z/OS, Internet, and Client/Server environments to meet business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of development experience with IBM FTM (Financial Transaction Manager).
• Deep understanding of IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker (WMB/IIB).
• Proficiency in ESQL for FTM development.
• Hands-on experience with MQSeries and WMB/IIB.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with XML schema creation and WTX.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of design methodologies including OO, top-down, and component-based design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated Jenkins build processes.
• Knowledge of z/OS, Internet, and Client/Server platform selection.
