Description

You will manage and maintain IBM i environments, including installations, PTF deployments, and HMC maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBM i environments, including installations, PTF deployments, and HMC maintenance.
• Configure system firmware, software, and security requirements.
• Monitor daily system health, verifying hardware, resources, and process availability.
• Review system and application logs, validating backup integrity and job completion.
• Lead problem isolation, resolution, and provide monthly system performance reporting and capacity planning support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IBM i (AS/400) Administration experience.
• 5+ years of HMC Maintenance experience.
• Experience performing system firmware and software upgrades.
• Proficiency in system log review and performance monitoring.
• Ability to perform detailed problem isolation and resolution.
• Experience maintaining third-party software applications.

Preferred Skills

• Idoctor and MIMIX.
• Disaster Recovery testing experience.
