Description

Lead technical development and production support for IBM i applications. This role owns the design, coding, and maintenance of core systems while managing stakeholder expectations and delivery timelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using ILE COBOL, ILE CL, and RPG.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Estimate, monitor, and report on project assignments.
• Fix and resolve high-priority production issues.
• Work with business teams to prioritize development tasks.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience working with AS/400.
• Strong knowledge of IBM i AS400, COBOL, CL/400, and RPG.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong working knowledge of DB2.
• Experience with ILE Concepts, Display Files, Sub Files, and Printer Files.
• Familiarity with embedded SQL and iSeries APIs.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services lending domain.
• Exposure to modernization tools or microservices.
