Description
You will maintain and optimize IBM iSeries applications while integrating them with modern AWS data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications on IBM iSeries using COBOL and CL.
- Write and manage JCL scripts for job scheduling and execution.
- Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Lakehouse, S3, Athena, Glue, and Airflow (MWAA).
- Integrate legacy mainframe applications with AWS data technologies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across mainframe and cloud environments.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience with IBM iSeries, AS/400, COBOL, and CL.
- Strong proficiency in JCL for job control and scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services: S3, Athena, Glue, and Airflow (MWAA).
- Knowledge of AWS Lakehouse architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud platforms.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Proficiency in Java or Python.
