Description

You will develop, test, and maintain IBM mainframe applications using an Agile/Scrum model. You will bridge the gap between design and implementation for portals, enterprise search, and interactive forms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software solutions using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Manage business requirements and identify cross-dependencies across applications.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Supervise assigned staff and participate in recruiting and performance reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM mainframe development.
• Mastery of COBOL, JCL, and DB2 programming.
• Experience with relational database modeling and advanced SQL queries or procedures.
• Ability to bridge DB2 batch processes to SQL databases.
• Proficiency with source control concepts and repositories such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
• Experience using JIRA for work item management.
• Ability to create and execute unit tests using established frameworks.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel to off-site locations.
