Description

You will manage IBM middleware technologies within on-prem Unix/Linux environments and oversee potential cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure web servers, application servers, and database connectivity.
  • Administer IBM DataPower across virtual machines, containers, and Linux levels.
  • Manage IBM MQ, WebSphere, and IBM Liberty environments.
  • Maintain HTTP services including Apache and IBM HTTP Server.
  • Handle TLS certificates, certificate chains, CAs, and keystores.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of web server and middleware administration in a public web hosting environment.
  • Strong Linux administration experience.
  • IBM DataPower, IBM MQ, WebSphere, and IBM Liberty administration.
  • Kubernetes and Podman containerization and management.
  • Deep understanding of ports, sockets, and services.
  • Java Virtual Machine (JVM) configuration, including class path and DSN/JDBC configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with TLS certificates, certificate chains, CAs, and keystores.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps experience.
  • ForumSentry experience.
