Description

You will design, develop, and deliver IBM MQ solutions, including Multi-Instance Queue Managers and High Availability architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead IBM MQ deployments, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Own middleware patching and upgrade activities for IBM MQ and IBM ACE.
• Participate in rotational on-call support to ensure platform stability.
• Contribute to AWS cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM MQ Administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Automation.
• Strong Linux/Unix System Administration skills.
• Experience integrating applications with WebSphere Application Server.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools, specifically Splunk.
• Working knowledge of Java programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Ability to perform complex technical analysis and present recommendations.
