Description

You will manage and maintain the IBM MQ infrastructure to ensure application availability and reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ servers, queues, topics, and channels.
• Implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, including backup plans.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective actions.
• Manage access controls, security configurations, and authentication protocols.
• Automate the deployment and management of IBM MQ servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM MQ administration.
• Deep understanding of IBM MQ cluster design, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience implementing IBM MQ clustering and workload balancing.
• Proficiency with Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically EC2, Load Balancers, and ASGs.
• Knowledge of AWS networking, including Security Groups, ENI, VPC, and Availability Zones.
• Ability to document infrastructure configurations and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
