Description

You will manage and optimize IBM MQ RDQM solutions within Linux environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MQ RDQM solutions on Linux for high availability and data consistency.
• Configure MQ clusters and optimize environments for throughput and low latency.
• Monitor infrastructure for bottlenecks and resolve MQ-related incidents to minimize downtime.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Document configurations and collaborate with development teams on troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MQ administration.
• Deep expertise in IBM MQ and RDQM architecture and concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of messaging protocols and patterns.
• Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery for MQ RDQM.
• Knowledge of security implementation for MQ environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record focusing specifically on RDQM on Linux platforms.
