Description

Manage and optimize IBM MQ RDQM solutions on Linux for a short-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MQ RDQM solutions on Linux to ensure high availability and data consistency.
• Configure and manage MQ clusters, optimizing environments for throughput and low latency.
• Monitor infrastructure for performance bottlenecks and resolve MQ-related incidents to minimize downtime.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms for MQ RDQM.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MQ administration.
• Deep expertise in RDQM on Linux and RDQM concepts.
• Strong knowledge of IBM MQ architecture and best practices.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration.
• Experience with shell scripting.
• Understanding of messaging protocols and patterns.
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery in MQ environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
