Description

You will develop, test, debug, and deploy business rule applications using IBM ODM.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy business rule applications on IBM ODM platforms.
• Integrate rule execution by writing code and providing input to rule design.
• Deploy rule projects to Rule Execution Server using Rule Designer and DevOps pipelines.
• Migrate rules from IBM ODM versions 8.9 (classic engine) to 8.11/8.12 (decision engine).
• Write, rewrite, and manage business rules using IRL, BAL, ARL, and Java.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM ODM development.
• Proficiency in Java SE and Java EE (J8, J11, J17).
• Experience with XOM/BOM data-modeling, creations, and mappings.
• Ability to write business rule consumers in Java or via embedded ODM using SOAP and REST services.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud deployments and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and debugging/analysis techniques.
• Experience with rule authoring in IRL, BAL, and ARL.
