Description

You will design, develop, and implement complex business rules and processes using IBM ODM and JRules.

Responsibilities

• Design decision services including ruleflows, BOMs, XOMs, and decision tables using IBM ODM and JRules.
• Implement technical solutions involving Rule Execution Server, Rule Team Server, Decision Server, and Decision Center.
• Lead migration projects from older JRules/ODM versions to newer versions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Translate business requirements into technical rule solutions through collaboration with business analysts.
• Conduct unit testing with JUnit and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure rule accuracy.
• Maintain rule governance and validation strategies to protect the integrity of rule artifacts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with IBM ODM (v8.5+) and JRules (v7.1+).
• Hands-on expertise with Rule Team Server, Rule Execution Server, Decision Server, and Decision Center.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI, and JMS.
• Experience building SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Proficiency with Spring and SpringBoot frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and IBM DB2.
• Knowledge of application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat.
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and build deployment.
• Proficiency with version control systems including SVN, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related field.
