Description

You will design, build, and maintain secure IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) environments for high-volume B2B data transmission.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade IBM SI from 5.x to 6.x and integrate with IBM SSP.
• Design and deploy IBM SSP on B2B Zone and DMZ Edge networks.
• Manage and monitor SI environments to ensure secure data transmission and integration.
• Build automation tools for provisioning, deploying, and monitoring production systems.
• Analyze edge controls to identify inefficiencies and implement risk-based security solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator 6.x or above.
• Proven experience with IBM SI 5.x upgrades.
• Deep knowledge of Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP-Configuration Manager, and SSP-External Authenticator.
• Proficiency in BPML (Business Process Development Language).
• Strong command of XPath, XML, and XSLT.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, and Networking/LTM/GTM.
• Knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and Connect Direct transmission protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating SI and SSP with Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Ability to articulate data-driven plans and partner with stakeholders for risk reduction.
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
