Description

You will provide 24/7 technical support and engineering for Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions on a rotational basis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform infrastructure including security patches, password updates, and certificate updates.
• Configure Sterling Control Center rules, actions, and reporting using Jasper Suite.
• Execute prerequisite tasks for major software releases.
• Handle incident and change management via ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 7+ years engineering and supporting IBM Sterling File Gateway.
• Working knowledge of IBM Sterling suite (B2Bi Integrator, SEAS, SSP, SPS, Secure Reverse Proxy Engine).
• Proficiency in secure protocols: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, and AS2.
• Strong Unix skills: shell scripting, process management, and system health monitoring.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle database table construction and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for observability, log management, and regex.
• Knowledge of cryptographic standards (PGP, FIPS, key exchanges, ciphers).
• Experience with OpenShift cloud implementations.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Computer Science or any graduate degree.
