Description

Lead the architecture, implementation, and support of IBM Sterling OMS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IBM Sterling OMS or similar enterprise packaged applications.
  • Develop core functionality using Java and integrated web services.
  • Support testing and deployment phases within Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Manage code versioning and track development progress through standard tooling.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of IBM Sterling OMS implementation, support, or testing experience.
  • 5+ years of direct implementation and development of Sterling OMS.
  • 10+ years of professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Java and OMS development.
  • Proficiency with SOA, XML, REST, and JSON.
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE and SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Oracle Database or DB2.
  • Knowledge of Unix and Shell Scripting.
  • Experience with JIRA, SVN, and GitHub/Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems.
