Description

You will act as a technical and functional expert focused on Quality Assurance for enterprise IBM Sterling OMS implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans for OMS configurations, pipelines, agents, services, and COM UI customizations.
  • Validate integration flows and API/batch integrations between IBM Sterling OMS and external systems including ERP, eCommerce, and marketplaces.
  • Perform functional, system, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and offshore QA teams within Agile/Scrum cycles to manage defect triage.
  • Participate in deployment validations and post-release smoke testing in UNIX/Linux environments.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of IT or Supply Chain experience, with at least 7 years focused on IBM Sterling OMS (on-premises).
  • Deep knowledge of order lifecycle management, distributed order management (DOM), inventory visibility, sourcing rules, and fulfillment.
  • Hands-on experience validating omnichannel capabilities such as BOPIS, SFS, OI, and marketplace fulfillment.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, JSP, Dojo, and REST APIs.
  • Experience testing COM UI customizations for usability and functionality.
  • Technical experience with Git, Docker, Octopus, and UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Competency with test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in test automation for IBM Sterling OMS using Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Exposure to omnichannel retail testing scenarios, including peak load and failover validation.
