Description

Lead the migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS while maintaining OSP 10 and Rel 7.7.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing OPS/MVS rules and Rexx execs to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation.
• Maintain and support OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 software products.
• Review, address, and backport critical CVEs to ensure software security and resilience.
• Collaborate with kernel developers to resolve software issues and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues within a distributed engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software maintenance and support as a Senior Engineer.
• Expertise in IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS.
• Hands-on experience migrating from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS.
• Proficiency with Corgi and Pacemaker for RHEL HA.
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python, Ansible, and Jenkins/Groovy.
• Experience using git for version control.
• Proven ability to work effectively across different time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware.
