You will administer Java application runtime environments, with a focus on IBM WebSphere and IBM WebSphere Liberty. Your work centers on infrastructure management rather than application development or deployment.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBM WebSphere and WebSphere Liberty environments.
• Maintain Unix command line proficiency and execute shell scripting tasks.
• Collaborate within team settings while managing self-directed operational tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or administration.
• Proven experience administering IBM WebSphere and/or IBM WebSphere Liberty.
• Strong proficiency with Unix command line interfaces.
• Ability to write and maintain shell scripts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Java application runtimes in enterprise settings.
