Description

You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of IBM WebSphere MQ environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and uninstall MQ 9.0 and above on Linux.
• Upgrade and downgrade Queue Managers within a Linux environment.
• Troubleshoot incidents and recover damaged MQ objects.
• Monitor middleware, including checking error logs and failover queues, performing daily on-call tasks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with IBM MQ.
• Expertise in Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience managing IBM MQ clusters.
• Deep knowledge of Queue Management, Dead Letter Queues, and Channel/Application Triggering.
• Proficiency in configuring Queue Managers, Queues, and Channels.
• Experience applying security to MQ objects and Queue Managers.
• Ability to analyze MQ Level Logs and perform strong debugging.
• Experience with installing MQ Series fix packs on Linux.
• Understanding of system development methodologies and tools.
