Description

You will administer and maintain IBM WebSphere MQ environments on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and uninstall MQ 9.0+ and apply fix packs on Linux.
• Upgrade and downgrade Queue Managers within Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents and recover damaged MQ objects.
• Monitor middleware, check error logs, and manage failover queues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with IBM MQ.
• Expertise in Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience managing IBM MQ clusters.
• Deep knowledge of Queue Management, Dead Letter Queues, and Channel/Application Triggering.
• Proficiency in configuring Queue Managers, Queues, and Channels.
• Experience applying security to MQ objects and Queue Managers.
• Ability to analyze MQ Level Logs and perform strong debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of system development methodologies and tools.
