Description

Develop, modify, and support ERP and MES applications on the IBMi platform, specifically Infor-XA/MAPICS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom software solutions for Infor-XA and related ERP environments.
• Perform unit and system testing to ensure software integrity and functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Infor-XA and system customizations.
• Optimize application performance and technology stack adoption.
• Drive technical innovation in methodology, tools, and development practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing solutions for the IBMi platform.
• Proficiency in RPGLE using Free syntax with extensive embedded SQL.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 SQL, including queries, tables, and indexes.
• Experience using Powerlink and system link utilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or Computer Information Systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with XML and JSON data formats.
• Knowledge of change management tools such as Aldon or MDCMS.
