Description

Design and implement secure network architectures for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures for ICS, including LAN, WAN, and industrial Ethernet.
• Deploy security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, designs, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture with a focus on industrial control systems.
• Practical experience in substation control houses with familiarity in substation terminology.
• Deep understanding of industrial control system protocols: Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience designing network security for critical infrastructure, specifically in the electrical or energy sectors.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, DMZ architecture, and zero-trust security models.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex security issues within ICS and OT environments.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NERC CIP, and ISO/IEC 27001 standards.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.
