Description

Lead the enterprise migration from Kerberos to Okta SSO for a global fleet of 30,000 users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the migration from Kerberos-based authentication in Jamf to Okta SSO.
• Design identity and access management workflows aligned with Zero Trust principles and modern endpoint management.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Okta integrations with macOS devices using Jamf Connect and Jamf Pro.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Compliance, and Platform Engineering teams on project scope, risk mitigation, and testing.
• Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and transition playbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM), infrastructure engineering, or enterprise security.
• Proven experience deploying and managing Okta SSO during major enterprise-wide rollouts.
• Deep understanding of Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and OIDC protocols.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jamf Pro and Jamf Connect in macOS environments.
• Experience managing complex technical projects for user bases exceeding 10,000 users.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of Jamf, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, Python, Bash, and Kerberos.

Preferred Skills

• Okta Certified Professional or Consultant level certifications.
• Jamf Certified Expert (Jamf 400) certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Apple Business Manager, and Zero Trust architecture.
