Description

Design, implement, and manage Identity & Access Management solutions using HashiCorp Vault and infrastructure automation tools.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure HashiCorp Vault Enterprise, including secret engines (KV, PKI, AWS, database, transit).
• Use Terraform to automate Vault configuration, focusing on the latter half of the project lifecycle.
• Manage PKI, certificate lifecycles, and encryption workflows, ensuring secure secret rotation and key management.
• Implement Vault policies (ACLs), namespaces, tokens, and identity management with RBAC and least-privilege design.
• Monitor, log, and audit Vault usage while maintaining Linux systems administration and DevOps fundamentals.

Required Skills

• HashiCorp Vault Enterprise administration and configuration.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (experience configuring Vault is critical).
• Linux systems administration and DevOps fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with PKI, certificate management, and encryption.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of Vault secret engines and access control mechanisms.
• AWS or Azure cloud experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Terraform specifically to configure Vault.
• Experience with both AWS and Azure environments.
