Description

You will manage and optimize Imperva delivery and security services, ensuring optimal performance and security for web and mobile applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Imperva CDN, WAF, Bot Manager Premier, and Account Protector to mitigate bot attacks and account takeover attempts.
• Implement and maintain WAF rules, policies, and caching/compression rules to enhance web application performance.
• Conduct risk assessments across web and mobile apps, integrating in-browser protection and Imperva SDK for client-side security.
• Monitor traffic patterns, troubleshoot issues, and respond to high-priority on-call engagements within 15 minutes.
• Document security incidents, vulnerabilities, and configurations; collaborate with dev/ops teams to optimize content delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT security or related infrastructure roles.
• 8+ years implementing and maintaining Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules and policies.
• 3+ years troubleshooting and maintaining network appliances (switches, routers, firewalls, proxies).
• 3+ years automating network infrastructure tasks.
• 3+ years supporting cloud-native applications in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of HTTP, SSL/TLS encryption, DNS, switching, and routing.
• Expertise in application security, mitigating OWASP Top 10 threats, and CDN architecture.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web servers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DDoS protection and Site Shield IP management.
• Ability to work flexibly for Canada customers.
