Description

You own the documentation and execution of IDMS processes, specifically focusing on DARSTRAN activities and maintenance schedules.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain IDMS process outlines and DARSTRAN-related activities.
• Manage maintenance runs, batch load reloads, and CDC procedure activation.
• Validate bulk and incremental data loads and execute job migrations to production.
• Generate CHG requests, secure approvals, and attend CAB meetings.
• Monitor jobs and support production environments during restructuring and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IDMS environments.
• Expertise in JCL.
• Experience managing schema updates and DDL completion using ISPIWIN tools.
• Ability to manage data extracts for bulk loads and migrate jobs into production.
• Experience with batch load reloads and CDC job management.
• Coordinate activities with internal IDMS team members to ensure seamless execution.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of MQueue processes.
