Description

You will design, develop, and implement Ignition SCADA and MES applications to improve manufacturing efficiency and operational visibility.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
• Interface MES systems with third-party automation platforms like FactoryTalk and Siemens WINCC.
• Collaborate with customers to define functional requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues within SCADA/MES systems to optimize performance.
• Implement dashboards and reports to provide real-time production insights.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in SCADA/MES development, specifically with Ignition SCADA.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and PLC-based control system integration.
• Experience interfacing MES solutions with ERP, PLC, and OT/IT systems.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting using C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, and Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with global teams.
