Description

You will evaluate image sensors at the application level and support internal customers with system integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform image sensor data collection, analysis, and application-level validation.
• Execute hands-on bring-up and testing for off-the-shelf and custom image sensors.
• Provide debug support for evaluation boards and maintain sensor datasheets, application notes, and reference designs.
• Collaborate with the Image Sensor Lead to explore sensor functions for system-level use cases.
• Draft technical white papers and application notes to showcase system-level improvements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of industry experience in image sensor analysis and application.
• Experience working in an electro-optical laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with EE debugging on evaluation boards using scopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
• Scripting experience using Python, MATLAB, or Perl for data automation and rationalization.
• Strong electrical engineering bench working skills.
• Ability to perform ad-hoc experiments with new partner sensors.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with CMOS image sensors, ISP, and image quality metrics such as noise and defect pixel correction.
• Firmware development experience using C/C++.
