Description

You will manage daily import and export operations while ensuring strict adherence to EAR and Customs regulations. You provide compliance guidance to internal teams and external customers, facilitating due diligence and monitoring. You collaborate with shippers and freight forwarders to ensure all documentation is accurate and received timely for declarations. You own the end-to-end compliance process for international shipments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EAR and Customs regulations for all import and export activities.
• Provide compliance guidance to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Collaborate with shippers and freight forwarders to verify documentation accuracy.
• Monitor and facilitate compliance and due diligence processes daily.
• Manage timely receipt and processing of import and export declarations.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in customs and international trade compliance.
• Deep knowledge of EAR and Customs regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Import and Export operations.
• Proficiency in managing freight and logistics management workflows.
• Ability to work with shippers and freight forwarders.
• Strong understanding of international trade documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with internal and external parties for compliance issues.
• Background in logistics management within a trade compliance context.
