Description

Manage, optimize, and maintain IMS DB and DC systems for application stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, implement, test, and tune IMS DB and DC systems.
• Provide DBA support to application developers.
• Maintain and tune backup and recovery processes for IMS disaster recovery.
• Administer the IMS system using consoles, JCL, and DL/I.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IMS DB and DC.
• Proficiency in JCL and DL/I.
• Hands-on experience with IMS installation and implementation.
• Experience tuning IMS DB performance.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
