Description

Manage and maintain IMS DB and DC systems, owning release, tuning, and direct DBA support for application developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, implement, test, and tune IMS DB and DC systems.
• Administer the IMS system using consoles, JCL, and DL/I.
• Maintain and tune backup-recovery processes for IMS disaster recovery.
• Provide direct DBA support to application developers.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in IMS DB and DC systems.
• Proficiency with DL/I interface.
• Experience writing and managing JCL.
• System administration via IMS consoles.
• Management of backup and recovery processes.
• Ability to install, implement, and test database systems.
• Any graduate degree.
