Description

You will manage IMS network operations, system design, and technical requirements for deployed systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support, application maintenance, capacity monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Identify and document technical requirements based on system architecture.
• Complete detailed system designs, including call flows, cost estimates, impact studies, and capacity analysis.
• Conduct design reviews with engineering peers to ensure requirements and goals are met.
• Deliver Tier 2 technical support for operations personnel.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in IMS engineering.
• Expertise in SIP messaging, signaling, and IMS components.
• Deep knowledge of 3GPP IMS core standards.
• Experience with IMS call flows, SIP, and SS7 protocols.
• System-level knowledge of LTE (EPC) packet data core or Policy/charging and QoS enforcement.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, routing, and network capture analysis.
• Experience with testing processes, strategies, and test plans.
• Ability to perform testing on SBC solutions and vendor products like Metaswitch, Genband, or Mavenir.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV), VMware, JavaScript, or Python scripting.
• Previous leadership experience managing engineers and project deliverables.
