Description

You design, install, and commission PLC/HMI control systems while managing network integration and hardware maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and commission new PLC/HMI systems and maintain existing installations.
• Diagnose faults, perform hardware repairs, and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Manage control submittals and project redlines to create accurate as-built drawings.
• Conduct jobsite walk-throughs, complete closeout documentation, and deliver customer training.
• Collaborate with technicians to develop technical solutions and provide diagnostic reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation.
• Proficiency with PLC software: Rockwell RSLogix or Modicon Unity Pro.
• Experience with HMI software: Rockwell FactoryTalk or Wonderware InTouch.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and serial network communication formats and hardware configurations.
• Understanding of basic process controls, including PID control loops and motor control.
• Experience commissioning digital and analog measurement devices.
• Proficiency with Windows Office applications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other database applications.
