Description

You will manage material flow and transport operations between Laser and Paint process steps. You own the efficiency of these transitions through rigorous planning and lean application.

Responsibilities

• Define material flow strategies including kitting, sequencing, JIT, lineside, and supermarket models.
• Develop Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and calculate bin, rack, and space requirements.
• Analyze layouts, labor force, and equipment utilization to optimize resource efficiency.
• Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs, and improve quality within the supply chain.
• Conduct time and motion studies and ergonomic studies as required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in packaging, flow definition, layout development, conveying, and product handling.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Concepts and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel.
• Experience with material flow simulation using FlexSim or Plant Simulation.
• Exposure to automation in material handling and storage, such as AGV, AMR, and ASRS.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
