Description

Support engineering projects by translating architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD to communicate design specifications.
• Execute manufacturing optimizations including line balancing, PFMEA, process mapping, and standard work.
• Manage the procurement process for new tooling and equipment by placing and following up on purchase orders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project reviews between departments and stakeholders to ensure design accuracy.
• Monitor project progress by creating and managing problem follow-up sheets to guide activity completion.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating both 2D and 3D layouts.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools and equipment installation.
• Ability to perform physical measurements to create accurate layouts.
• Experience with line balancing, PFMEA, and process mapping.
• Advanced mathematical skills and knowledge of industry engineering standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office for data analysis and executive presentations.
• Availability to work overtime or weekends based on project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Automotive or Truck industry.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
