Description

You will analyze and maintain network security infrastructure, focusing on firewall configurations, connectivity troubleshooting, and process documentation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network security infrastructure, services, and technologies to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
• Review, approve, and implement security configuration changes on firewalls, WAFs, and proxies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security connectivity issues for internal customers.
• Collaborate with teams to define network connectivity requirements while maintaining security standards.
• Document current processes, creating and improving SOPs and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and the OSI model.
• Experience working with network firewalls, proxies, and web application firewalls.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to document processes and create effective guides.
• Effective communication skills for independent and team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with Cisco certifications (CCNA).
