Description

You will design and implement enterprise metadata-driven data pipelines and scalable architectures within Azure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement metadata-driven data pipelines using Informatica and Azure Data Factory.
• Design and develop an Operational Data Store (ODS) sourced from Azure Data Lake.
• Integrate and optimize Guidewire Claim Data Access (CDA) into the data lake architecture.
• Build serverless compute solutions using Azure Functions for event-driven workflows.
• Monitor and optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and Azure Cloud cost-efficiency.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or ETL development.
• 3+ years of experience within the P&C insurance domain.
• Expertise in Informatica Power Center for ETL and metadata-driven automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Spark.
• Experience building and managing ODS systems from data lakes.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Claim Data Access (CDA).
• Proven ability to design solutions for Azure Cloud Cost Optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hadoop-based big data ecosystems.
