Description

You will lead the development and support of data integration applications using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS, owning code quality, deployments, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build mappings, mapplets, workflows, and parameter files with robust error handling and logging.
• Author, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries, analyzing execution plans to improve performance and scalability.
• Partner with architects to review low-level designs and ensure alignment with data governance standards.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production incidents, implementing preventive fixes and runbooks.
• Coach developers on best practices, unit testing, and performance tuning while maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience leading Data Warehouse, data integration, or data engineering projects.
• Extensive expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS, including reusable components and deployment packages.
• Advanced SQL skills with proven ability to optimize complex queries, indexing strategies, and joins.
• Experience with dimensional and normalized modeling, including star/snowflake schemas.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for production support, performance issues, and data quality problems.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to business stakeholders and produce clear documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ELT approaches and modern data platforms, specifically Databricks.
• History of owning deliverables and guiding teams through complex, time-boxed projects.
