Description

You design, implement, and maintain ETL programs to load data marts and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL programs to load data marts and data warehouses while implementing business logic through data transformations.
• Construct data decomposition diagrams and prepare technical documentation for workflows, data flows, and source-to-destination mappings.
• Create database objects, normalize tables, and maintain referential integrity.
• Perform unit, system, integration, and regression testing to validate data accuracy against source systems.
• Monitor production jobs to ensure timely completion and perform regular audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in development and implementation of Data Warehouse and BI solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on database development and SQL programming, including stored procedures and triggers.
• 2+ years of ETL development experience using Informatica or SAP Data Services.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Thorough knowledge of Relational and Dimensional Data Models, OLAP, and Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Experience developing data models using Erwin or MS-Visio.
• Experience developing reporting and analytical solutions using tools such as Cognos or Business Objects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Data Services as an alternative ETL tool.
