Description

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica and cloud data platforms. You own the full lifecycle from architecture and migration to production support and performance tuning.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data integration solutions across cloud (Snowflake, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) using Informatica IDClient/IICS and PowerCenter.
• Spearhead data migration initiatives from on-premises databases to cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and cost efficiency.
• Oversee Informatica infrastructure, including installation, upgrades, server migrations, secure agent deployment, and repository management.
• Manage critical production incidents through ServiceNow, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using advanced techniques like Slowly Changing Dimensions, CDC, and partition strategies for batch and real-time processing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT development.
• Deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IDClient/IICS, Power Exchange, and IICS services (CDI, CDQ, CAI).
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake, BigQuery, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
• Advanced SQL/PL/SQL skills across Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Teradata, and DB2, including DDL, stored procedures, and indexing.
• Experience migrating data from Oracle/MS SQL Server to Snowflake/BigQuery.
• Proficiency in DOS/PowerShell and UNIX shell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, UC4, Cron) and infrastructure as code principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Veeva CRM) with data warehouses.
• Background in Retail, Pharma, Banking, or Healthcare domains.
