Key Responsibilities 

Architecture & Design 

• Design scalable, secure, and reusable enterprise integration solutions using  IICS/IDMC.  

• Define data integration architecture, standards, naming conventions, and best  practices.  

• Lead migration from Informatica PowerCenter to IICS where applicable.  • Design batch, real-time, and API-driven integration solutions.  

• Recommend performance optimization and cloud-native integration patterns.  Development 

• Develop and maintain:  

o Cloud Data Integration (CDI) mappings 

o Mapping Tasks  

o Taskflows  

o Replication Tasks  

o Synchronization Tasks  

• Build reusable parameter files, templates, and mapping objects.  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for cloud and on-premises data sources.  

• Work with SQL transformations, expression logic, lookup optimization, and  incremental loading.  

• Integrate IICS with cloud platforms and enterprise applications. Typical  responsibilities include creating mappings, workflows, optimizing performance,  and resolving integration issues.  

Production Support 

• Provide L3 production support.  

• Troubleshoot failed jobs and workflow issues.  

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).  

• Resolve production incidents within SLA.  

• Monitor scheduled jobs and Secure Agents.  

• Support release deployments and rollback activities.  

• Participate in weekend/on-call support rotation.  

Administration 

• Install and configure Secure Agents.  

• Configure Runtime Environments.  

• Manage connections and schedules.  

• User and role administration.  

• Monitor system health and performance.  

• Coordinate version upgrades and patching.  

• Handle repository backup and recovery.  

Performance Optimization 

• Optimize mapping performance. 

• Reduce execution time.  

• Tune SQL queries.  

• Optimize lookup and cache usage.  

• Improve Secure Agent resource utilization.  

DevOps & CI/CD 

• Implement deployment automation.  

• Version control using Git.  

• Support migration across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production.  • Work with Jenkins/Azure DevOps where applicable.  Documentation

Required Experience 

• 8–12 years in ETL/Data Integration.  

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC.  • Experience designing enterprise-scale integration solutions.  • Strong Troubleshooting experience. 

• Experience integrating cloud and on-premises applications.  • Experience with migration from Informatica PowerCenter to IICS is preferred.  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
