Description

You will lead the architectural transition from legacy Informatica workflows to a modern ELT stack using dbt on Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define the target ELT architecture using dbt on Snowflake integrated with Azure services.
• Translate legacy Informatica mappings and workflows into modular dbt models across staging, core, and mart layers.
• Design a repeatable migration factory including templates, accelerators, and conversion playbooks.
• Lead the migration strategy, roadmap, and wave planning for converting Informatica jobs to dbt.
• Oversee conversion, unit testing, and parallel runs to validate model accuracy against legacy outputs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Warehousing.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud) building production-grade pipelines.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Informatica to dbt/Snowflake migrations.
• Strong Snowflake expertise in schema design, views, warehouse management, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADLS, Synapse, and Databricks.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Ability to design dbt models, seeds, snapshots, tests, macros, and documentation.
• Experience managing dbt environments, profiles, and connections to Snowflake on Azure.
