Description

Lead the multi-stage migration of Informatica PowerCenter from version 8.1.1 to 10.5 across production and test environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute stepwise upgrades across versions 8.6.1, 9.5.1, 9.6.1, and 10.5.
• Define hardware specifications for virtual servers and perform installations on Windows 2019/2022.
• Migrate objects, workflows, worklets, and tasks while verifying repository integrity.
• Manage repository backups, upgrades, and configurations.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training for internal maintenance staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience with Informatica PowerCenter software installation and version upgrades.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ETL process development.
• Deep knowledge of Informatica mappings, transformations, workflows, and worklets.
• Proficiency in standard SQL and database connection management.
• Experience specifying hardware requirements for virtual server builds.
• Competency in ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring best practices.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Experience with Windows 2019 and 2022 server environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience working with legacy versions of Informatica PowerCenter.
