Description

You will manage the migration and maintenance of Informatica ETL processes, including version upgrades and cloud platform setup.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Backup the Informatica version 8.1.1 repository and incorporate production sequence IDs into the test repository.
• Set up and configure test servers using production server images.
• Create Informatica mappings on the cloud platform and clean up the IDMC server.
• Create metadata on the IDMC server and verify the migrated repository.
• Train Informatica PowerCenter administrators and developers on best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL development and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter upgrade and migration projects.
• Proficiency in developing end-to-end ETL processes using Informatica.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, Mappings, and Workflows.
• Solid understanding of standard SQL.
• Ability to install and configure Informatica PowerCenter across multiple versions.
• Ability to specify hardware requirements and apply best practices for ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
